Believe it or not but after waiting almost a month we finally have temporary power. No more listening to that generator droning on for hours and no more fighting over the guns!

north roof sheathing

Paul finished off the rest of the sheathing on the north roof amidst 40 kmh winds! My job required me to stay where it was safe and hand him the sheets!

wayward dormer

surveyor found out dormer roof is too high even though it is lower than the main roof which is 1.5 feet lower than the main required height - adjusting the dormer overhang to meet criteria

Wade, Tara, and Paul helped lift the 21 foot beam into place just before the rain came.

main wall framing

Continuing with framing the main floor walls. If anyone is noticing the funny marks on the ground, after a long hard day and especially at the end of the week my ass is dragging so bad I'm leaving a trail behind me! Also, lately you might notice some peculiar imprints beside the trail markings as due to Victoria's sunny weather we have had to evolve webing on our feet!
