Wade, Tara, and Paul helped lift the 21 foot beam into place just before the rain came.

main wall framing

Continuing with framing the main floor walls. If anyone is noticing the funny marks on the ground, after a long hard day and especially at the end of the week my ass is dragging so bad I'm leaving a trail behind me! Also, lately you might notice some peculiar imprints beside the trail markings as due to Victoria's sunny weather we have had to evolve webing on our feet!

Drain rock & storm drainage

Slinger throws in the drain rock on top of the perimeter drainage and then the roof drainage piping is sloped on top of the rock.

Tara's birthday

Tara showed up all raring to go with her new tools -much to her chagrin she ended up with a shovel in her hands, and a day of digging in the mud is reflected in the after shot! Needless to say she will remember this birthday for a long time!
