the granite countertops were so heavy that the suppliers didn't want to try and pack them up the stairs so they brought in a crane to take them over the house and then down to the deck and into the dining room

hooray! the last guardrail and spindles completed.

the appliances have arrived

interior railings finally starting to take shape, I won't tell you how long I have been working on them or the number of challenges that have occured but they do look nice!

final gable finished and the exterior is complete, aside from a few paint touch ups, a little trim, and a little caulking. Took awhile but I'm pleased with the result.

After months of worrying about getting the gas line to the house, with a underground line locator who knew what he was doing and the professional crew that installs the gas line, the final job was really quite simple. So we now have gas to the house!

starting the interior guardrails, more scratching the head than much work getting done! And of course a man's quest for tools never ends!
